the stay here was really enjoyable for one night during a bike tour. the breakfast was hearty and delicious and complete with lovely views of the mountains and watching the birds, as for instance. got spotless room with a fireplace.

Location - amazing, just off good restaurants, the gardens and mountains and amazing mountains. Stylish, spotless unit with a very effective fireplace, and accommodating staff.

The location was fantastic, not very far from Joubert House Museum. the room was very well furnished, with views overlooking the mountains. - Greatly enjoyed this small hotel, and we would love to return. Facilities excellent. Host, Richard, has a very good knowledge of the area and places of interest. Would reccommend Montagu Vines without hesitation.

Very pretty rooms, one with open fire place, useful in winter months. Excellent host, Richard, who welcomes you with a bottle of his own wine. Good stopping place if coming off Garden Route through ostrich country on the way to Cape Town or vice versa. Wine country. Good breakfast, restaurants within walking distance in small town.

For travelers looking for a peaceful and comfortable stay, this guesthouse offers everything you need. the location is perfect, with walking distance to great restaurants, shops and a beautiful walking trail. the rooms are clean, cozy, and offer picturesque views of the surrounding fields and mountains. the breakfast is delicious, cooked to order and served on a veranda with a stunning backdrop. the hosts are warm, welcoming, and knowledgeable about the local area and attractions. Only downside was the relatively small pool available.
